Beyond work

The AI rabbit hole

Even off the clock, I'm reading about AI, startups, and whatever's new in tech. It doesn't feel like work to me. Watching this stuff evolve in real time is genuinely fun, and it's part of why I do the job I do.

Gaming

PS5, mostly FIFA (FC now, but it'll always be FIFA) and Call of Duty. And yes, I'm one of the millions waiting for GTA 6. Patiently. Mostly.

Matcha, coffee, and food

I take my drinks seriously: matcha and coffee both, and I have opinions about each. On food, pizza is the love of my life, and New York ruined me, because nothing here touches a proper slice. I'll try any cuisine once, but sushi is the all-time favourite.

Travel

I love travelling, and a laptop and good wifi is all I need to work. The hours don't move, though. Wherever I am, I'm online for the US day.

Dogs

Not yet, but it's decided: once I have my own house, a Husky and a Golden Retriever. Both. This is not up for debate.

The rest

I read books now and then. I cap social media at about an hour a day, on purpose. I used to play squash and swim competitively, took a long break, and I'm slowly rebuilding, starting with getting back in the pool. I'm also an unashamed defender of the nap.

One more thing, since it's the trait I'd want anyone to know: I'm honest, even when it costs me in the moment, and I expect the same in return.
